About Ali Choudhry
My name is Ali Choudhry.
I am a freelance photographer in Melbourne, Australia where I am currently working towards my bachelors degree in photography at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).
Primarily a portrait photographer, I bring a clean yet emotive eye to my images. My practice aims to answer two questions: who are we and what makes us us? Through use of minimalist compositions and selective use of color and form I aim to invoke what I call a 'breath' to all of my images.
My work has been shortlisted for the William and Winifred Bowness Photography Prize, Incinerator Award, APPA (Australian Professional Photography Award), and others.

I believe that the core to a good commercial shoot, such as this, is branding.
I'm happy to help you figure your brand out via our initial consultation. From here, we can create images which really help you stand out. I am comfortable photographing clothed/conceptual work, implied nudity/underwear/swimwear, as well as more explicit imagery.
